Our NCTA-certified* Testing Center is located on FSU's Tallahassee campus and is open to both FSU and non-FSU testers. We are committed to providing a secure, service-oriented testing environment for all of our testers and adhere to the professional standards and guidelines established by the National College Testing Association. We administer a variety of course, placement, and professional exams. See the exam guides below for all the information you need before scheduling a testing appointment.
fsu course exams
The FSU Testing Center administers course exams in a secure, proctored environment on the Tallahassee campus.
clep
With the College-Level Examination Program (CLEP), students can earn college credit in undergraduate courses.
certiport
Certification exams assess proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and information technology.
non-fsu course exams
Students who are enrolled in other institutions can take non-FSU course exams at the FSU Testing Center.
modern language placement
A language placement exam is required for students who continue their study of French, German, or Spanish.
accounting competency
Transfer students must take a placement exam to show competency in introductory financial accounting.
