Exam Guide: FSU Accounting Competency Exam

Transfer students in the accounting program must take the FSU Accounting Competency Exam to ensure they have skills comparable to students who pass ACG 2021 at FSU.

Requirements: To ensure you meet the criteria, review the College of Business’s Accounting Competency Exam Requirements document.

Format

40 multiple-choice questions based on concepts from Introduction to Financial Accounting (ACG 2021).

Delivery Mode

The exam is administered at the FSU Testing Center in Canvas and online via Honorlock.

Cost

Free to FSU students testing in person. FSU students using Honorlock pay a $4.45 per exam proctoring fee.

 

Request the Exam

Email admissions@business.fsu.edu to request enrollment in the Accounting Competency Exam organization site in Canvas. The site provides exam registration details. Note that fees for Honorlock testers are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

After the Exam

After completing your exam, email admissions@business.fsu.edu. Grades will be posted in the Canvas site.
